FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I book accommodation?
It’s very simple: just select the dates of your stay on the Reservations page, follow the steps in the procedure and pay the deposit. A contract will then be sent to your e-mail address, which you’ll need to complete and return scanned within a week. The balance is to be paid one month before the start of the rental period, and a bank details form will be sent to you.
I have booked Les Lauriers Roses online. Is my reservation final?
Reservations become definitive once you have signed the contract, which is sent to you after you have paid the deposit online.
What are the general rental conditions?
You will find the general rental conditions in the footer of the page, under “Information”. You’ll also find them in the rental contract you sign.
What is provided (apart from the furniture) and what is extra?
We provide basic cooking condiments (oil, salt, pepper). Blankets and pillows are provided. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be rented for an additional charge (€25/bed for sheets and €13/person for 2 towels per person). Please inform us as soon as possible. Payment of this supplement must be made at the same time as the balance of the booking, by bank transfer.
Who will welcome me?
Our resident caretaker will welcome you and show you around the accommodation when you get off the boat. Her telephone number will be given to you so that you can contact her a week to 24 hours before your arrival. What are the arrival and departure times for Les Lauriers Roses?
On the day of your arrival, you can use the house from 3pm. If you arrive earlier, you’ll need to check with our receptionist to make sure your luggage can be left on the house’s terrace. On the day of your departure, you’ll need to vacate the house by 10 a.m. at the latest. You’ll then need to check out and hand over the keys to our caretaker.
Can I stay with my pet?
Yes, except for category 1 and 2 dogs. Please inform us as soon as possible, as a special surcharge applies for the presence of one or more pets (€10/day). The animal remains your responsibility throughout your stay. You can board the TLV TVM shuttle buses from the Tour Fondue at no extra charge. Pets must be kept on a leash.
Once on site, you must keep your dog on a leash throughout Porquerolles Island, including on the trails, in accordance with National Park regulations.

NB: Guide dogs are not affected by current regulations: they can go anywhere on Porquerolles, including the beaches.
What are the house rules?
We have drawn up a set of simple rules to help you make the most of your stay. Please read them before moving in. When you sign the contract, you acknowledge that you have read the current house rules. You’ll find them at the bottom of the page in the “Information” section.

How can I cancel my reservation?
In order to reserve the accommodation, the Tenant must pay the Landlord a sum on account by a specified date at the latest, failing which the Landlord will be free to reserve the property to which this agreement relates for another tenant, without being liable to pay any compensation. This sum will be deducted from the total amount due. In the event of cancellation of the rental by the Tenant more than two months before the start date of the lease indicated in article 2 of the present contract, the sum corresponding to the deposit will be retained by the Landlord. In the event of cancellation by the Tenant between two months and fifteen days before the rental start date indicated in article 2 of the present contract, half (50%) of the price of the stay will be due to the Landlord, less the said deposit.
In the event of cancellation between fifteen days and the lease commencement date indicated in article 2 of the present contract, the full price of the stay will be due to the Lessor, less the said deposit.
The balance of the rent must be paid in full at least one month before the lease commencement date, i.e. before a specified date. The total rent due for the specified rental period is considered as a lump sum. Consequently, the Tenant may not claim a reduction in the rent if he/she takes possession of the premises late or if he/she returns the keys before the contractually agreed date.
When do I have to pay the balance of the rental?
At least one month before the date of entry into the premises specified on the contract. If the balance is not paid within this period, the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will remain in the hands of the owner.
I need a certificate of stay to be reimbursed by my works council. What should I do?
All you have to do is ask.
